When Does Ice Skating Stop at Viejas Outlet Center?
Ice Skating Is Still Going on at Alpine's Viejas Outlet Center Through January 6th
Even though the holidays are almost over most of us still have the kids at home until they go back to school on January 7th. Viejas Casino & Outlet Center offers the residents of Alpine and of course anyone else that happens to be in the neighborhood a chance to work off that extra energy by ice skating in the crisp mountain air surrounded by a gorgeous shopping center full of after Christmas Clearance Deals.
As you may or may not heard it is the Largest Outdoor Ice Skating Rink in Southern California and while it may not be on the beach or downtown, to me it is taking a short drive to be transported to a winter wonderland where there just might be a chance of snow. It feels a little more authentic than snow or ice brought to the beach, no offense to Coronado, Sea World or Lego Land.
At night you can even ice skate under the stars, (you see you can actually see stars in Alpine's sky unlike the night sky in the city) ice skating surrounded by the lights of the beautifully decorated Viejas Outlet Center.
Before or After skating you can also watch the new winter interactive light show. I know it starts at 7 pm, so if you are able to see it before I am please let me know what the new show is called.
